These terms apply when you access or use NZO. NZO is operated by Nutrons, and your NZO account is the same account you use on Nutrons (see Section 3). Please read these terms carefully before creating an account or using the service.
1. What NZO Is
NZO is Nutrons' kitchen companion for digitising recipes, planning meals, and guided cooking, including a hands-free voice assistant. By using NZO, you agree to these terms.
2. Not Medical, Dietary, or Food-Safety Advice
NZO provides recipe, cooking, and nutrition information for educational and informational purposes only. Recipe analysis, nutrient figures, dietary-restriction handling, and AI cooking guidance are not medical, dietary, or food-safety advice and do not replace consultation with qualified professionals.
NZO does not guarantee that a recipe is free from allergens or suitable for any particular dietary restriction, even where you have recorded restrictions in your profile. Always check ingredients and labels yourself if you have an allergy or intolerance. Do not rely solely on NZO for food-safety decisions such as cooking temperatures or storage times.
3. One Account Across NZO and Nutrons
NZO and Nutrons share a single account, sign-in, and profile. The credentials you use for one work for the other, and profile data such as your display name, age, and preferences is shared between both services.
Because there is one account, deleting your account from either NZO or Nutrons deletes it from both. The Nutrons terms also apply to your use of that shared account and are available at nutrons.ai/terms.
4. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use NZO. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when needed.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe your account is used in a way that harms NZO, Nutrons, other users, or the integrity of the service.
5. Your Content: Recipes and Cooking Data
Content you create or submit, such as recipe text, imported recipes, recipe photos and thumbnails, pantry and kitchen details, cooking-session activity, voice input to the assistant, and feedback, remains yours. You grant NZO a limited licence to host, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for the recipes and other material you import or upload. You agree not to submit content you do not have the right to use, and not to infringe the rights of others when importing recipes from third-party sources.
6. AI and Voice Features
NZO uses artificial intelligence to digitise recipes, plan, and guide cooking, and a voice assistant that captures microphone audio while you are actively using it. These features rely on third-party providers, including Google (Gemini, including live audio) and ElevenLabs (voice). Those providers process data under their own terms.
AI and voice outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unexpected results, including in quantities, substitutions, cooking times, and temperatures. You should review them before relying on them.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse NZO, attempt to interfere with the service, or use it to submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. You also agree not to attempt to bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or scrape the platform in a way that creates unreasonable load.
8. Service Availability
NZO is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the service will meet every user requirement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NZO, Nutrons, and their operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on recipe analysis, AI or voice cooking guidance, recipe scaling, or food-safety outcomes.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of NZO after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
